Short/Sony Pictures Television/AMC Image Acquired by AMCThis week’s episode of Better Call Saul starts us off with a look at Don Eladio’s abode, where Hector Salamanca shows up to drop off some money. Watch Desperate Hours Online Hulu. He’s bested by a man named Bolsa, who delivers a significantly larger amount of money. Don Eladio tries to convince Hector that they’re all friends, but he doesn’t look like he’s buying it.
His next appearance is at Los Pollos Hermanos, where he scares off customers and essentially holds the employees hostage until Fring comes back. They have a little chat in Fring’s office, which doesn’t bode so well for Fring. The next day he offers his employees 2. Hector. Mike’s storyline starts off with an abandoned stakeout. His granddaughter wants him to come visit, so he goes over for dinner. It’s not a very eventful scene, but it’s nice to see him with his family again.
His next scene is a short one where he tosses a bag of money into a car. We don’t see Kim and Jimmy until about halfway through the episode. Considering the show is based around Jimmy, it’s amazing at how well they can make it work without him at times, too. Kim finds out about an appointment Chuck has for repairs. She cancels the appointment and Jimmy sends Mike instead. The scene between Mike and Chuck shows just how convincing Mike is when faking jobs.
Recap and review of Fargo season 3, episode 2 'The Principle of Restricted Choice' where nothing gets solved and fate is creeping into the fold again.
He snuck in a disposable camera to grab some photos for Jimmy, which he then delivers in a diner along with some extra information. Gus makes a visit to Mike at the parking lot to question why he gave the money back.
Gloria searches for the truth about Thaddeus Mobley. Is The Originals cancelled or renewed for season five? The Vampire Diaries spinoff stars Joseph Morgan.
Gus wants Mike to consider working for him in the future and Mike says it depends. In this instance, Mike is loyal without needing to be loyal to just a single person. He can work for whoever he wants without much worry. Let the awkwardness ensure when Chuck, Jimmy, Howard, and Kim all end up in the same room together. They go over Jimmy’s statement and Kyra Hay (the officer of the court who is present) makes him apologize to Chuck.
Chuck confesses to Kim afterwards that there’s another copy of the tape (the original). Chuck is just as arrogant as ever towards Kim. However, it would appear that Kim and Jimmy have the upper hand after that conversation. The episode ends with a simple two word conversation between Kim and Jimmy. Overall, this episode just might be one of the best of this series. Half of it doesn’t even involve Jimmy and yet it’s just so good. The showdown between Jimmy and Chuck is starting to heat up and we’re seeing a lot more of Gus Fring already.
You really couldn’t ask for much else from Better Call Saul right now.
